Who you are
- If you are a proven sales leader with a track record of managing high performing teams, we should chat
- 4+ years Sales Management experience preferably within an Ad Tech organization
- 8+ years' experience in digital advertising sales, preferably programmatic
- Superior client management skills with a track record of success
- Experience with Independent Ad Agencies and HoldCo's
- Consistent track record of selling online video and achieving personal and team goals
- Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, DMP, or other online advertising companies
- History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment
- Passion for increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Director, Sales in Los Angeles, CA to join our fast-growing sales organization and lead a team of Account Executives
- As part of our Digital Media Sales team, you will be leading the building and management of a dynamic group of Sales Executives to drive our passion for innovation and collaboration
- The main objectives are to develop a sales strategy that will achieve ongoing new business growth, build excitement about our offering; exceed yearly budget targets; develop a stable client base; and increase market share for the company
- You will build, share, implement, and manage the performance of an account plan to deliver maximum revenue potential with your extended team at Nexxen!
- Manage a team of Account Executives in the Los Angeles region
- Expand Marketshare for your territory with a programmatic and managed service focus
- Support ongoing growth and development including recruiting, hiring, skill development training and mentoring sales reps
- Develop monthly goals to drive revenue for yourself and team members and report progress
- Accurately report revenue forecasts against monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with sound rationale and advertiser insights
- Ensure territory is covered strategically and that clients are continually aware of the benefit Nexxen can offer to their business objectives
- Expertly communicate Nexxen capabilities, differentiators, and product suite effectively to clients through various means (email, phone, in-person, conferences, networking events, etc)
- Build deep relationships with senior leadership at advertising agencies and advertising brands
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration
Our take
Video has been an invaluable marketing tool for businesses since the beginning of TV advertisement, but modern technology has dramatically changed how such content is consumed. On-demand omnichannel streaming services and CTV has provided unique opportunities for advertisers to develop their audience engagement strategies, but without the appropriate technology platform, this can be difficult to navigate.
Nexxen provides an end-to-end self-service CTV & video marketing platform, helping to provide businesses with the appropriate engagement tools to future-proof their video marketing. The platform includes AI-driven analytic tools based on audience data, marketplaces for the self-serving of media for campaigns, in addition to analytic tools to assess the success of campaigns in real-time.
Whilst several other start-ups provide either video engagement tools or self-serve video marketing marketplaces, Nexxen has taken the smart angle of combining both into a single platform, whilst specializing in futureproofing companies for the rise in CTV engagement demands. The company aims to save clients money, time, and operational complexity by unifying where they operate their video advertisement campaigns into a single platform.
