Who you are
- You are enrolled as a student in a relevant field of study (Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or similar) for the whole period of the internship
- You are available for a period of 6 months
- You have a positive, “can-do” attitude, you are a strong team player and you are not afraid of being persistent to close a deal
- You think out of the box to find creative solutions for persisting challenges, and you are able to identify key stakeholders to help you build them
- Having ticketing or tourism industry experience is a plus
- You're highly energetic, result-driven, and like getting things done with attention to detail
- You can work independently and have a great sense of responsibility
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Based in Spain
What the job involves
- As a Supply Sales Intern you’ll focus on our growth efforts in your assigned destinations. You'll be based in Spain and will report directly to the Regional Manager. You’ll be involved in the connection of new venues and activities with our instant delivery and mobile ticketing solutions
- By supporting Tiqets’ strong relationships with attractions, museums, theme parks and other activities in the Region, you’ll help create a strategic supply advantage. You’ll support the regional team in rapidly launching and optimising partnerships in established and new cities throughout your destinations working closely with the regional and HQ teams
- For the right candidate, this is an excellent opportunity to develop sales and account management skills, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fun and hard-working scale-up
- No day is the same at the Tiqets office. Our daily mission is to contract new supplies and guarantee the best results for our existing products in the region
- Ad-hoc projects, like teaming up with world-renowned landmarks to host exclusive events or press-covered activities, spice up the life of our office and bring new challenges are part of our everyday life
- Research & Lead Generation: Assist in identifying potential partners (museums, attractions, tour operators) using databases, LinkedIn and market competition, and help qualify leads provided by the team
- Outreach Support: Draft outreach emails, follow up with partners and help schedule meetings
- Inventory management and product checks to ensure Tiqet's portfolio is always optimised and up to date
- Partner Assistance: Support in managing partner inquiries, directing technical or commercial questions to the appropriate teams
- Contract & Sales Support: Track contract deadlines, assist in preparing renewal proposals, analyze sales data, and suggest possible improvements
- CRM Management: Update partner details and negotiation statuses in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)
- Market Research: Monitor competitor offerings to identify trends and new opportunities
Our take
Museums and attractions might have had people tolerating lengthy ticket-booth queues in the past, but the rising tide of digital transformation has today’s visitors expecting more. With many museums in particular operating on precarious funding models, they can’t afford to lose visitors, so Tiqet’s simple digital ticketing platform should offer something of a lifeline.
Tiqet’s easy browse-and-buy selection of e-tickets to top locations across the globe has proven especially useful - both for facilitating greater footfall, and for converting visitors to repeat customers with data gathering and analytics. It is this latter point that may prove especially useful: with an increasing proportion of museums' and attractions' revenue coming from gift shops and cafés, rather than ticket sales themselves, they are increasingly pivoting towards a consumer model. Consequently, they will need to keep a tighter finger on the pulse of consumer demand.
What bodes especially well for Tiqet has been an impressive funding round led by travel giant Airbnb, which offered guidance and collaboration to the startup. The company has led digital transformation in a key aspect of the tourism industry, and has made several advantageous partnerships with companies such as Klook and RUNNR.ai. At the end of 2025, it was announced that Expedia would acquire Tiqets, allowing the latter to benefit from the global travel group's wide-reaching network of partners.
