Role
Who you are
- As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will bring a depth of knowledge and experience in iOS development, including a strong understanding of Swift and SwiftUI
- You will have a proven track record of delivering robust, efficient, and maintainable code
- You should also have a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, from concept to deployment
- Your ability to work collaboratively in a team and your passion for continuous learning and growth will make you a valuable addition to our team
- 4+ years of experience in iOS development
- Deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI with a strong understanding of iOS frameworks
- Experience with iOS SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Strong understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Background in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering efficient, reliable, and maintainable code
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
- Some experience in GraphQL / Java is nice to have
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards would be a plus

- You’ll work with the latest apple technologies to enhance the architecture and design that support features to delight our learners
- You will work closely with product, backend engineers, QA & design to deliver impactful initiatives that correlate with product and engineering OKRs

- In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by creating and enhancing our iOS application
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality code, ensuring our app remains innovative, user-friendly, and reliable
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Swift UI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and improvements
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and functionality
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth
- Continually evaluate and optimize application performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development, and apply this knowledge to your work
