Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma and FigJam
- Experience defining and implementing design strategy at an organizational level
- Exceptional ability to communicate design concepts and rationale effectively
- Proven track record of leading high-impact design projects and initiatives
- A comprehensive design portfolio showcasing your work– case studies preferred
What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Designer at ZipRecruiter, you'll take ownership of key product areas, mentor other designers, and lead the design vision for major products and features
- You’ll drive innovation and set high standards for user experience while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to align design objectives with business strategies
- Taking full UX ownership of large-scale and complex product areas, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with overall business goals
- Define and execute the design strategy for large-scale projects, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience
- Partner with stakeholders across the company to advocate for design best practices and user needs
- Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to integrate design seamlessly into the development process
- Conduct and oversee user research to validate design decisions and optimize the user experience
- Utilizing your expertise in designing in Figma and FigJam, and driving the evolution of design systems
