Who you are
- 4+ years of experience of experiences in B2B SaaS field marketing
- The ideal candidate has experience working in events focused on the data, marketing, and/or advertising personas
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with our sales organization to collaborate
- Ability to develop strong relationships with partners and customers to source and execute on field marketing opportunities
- Proven track record of being able to autonomously manage tradeshows and field events to drive successful business outcomes
- Process-oriented and data-driven approach to prioritizing, measuring, and improving their programs
- Demonstratable ability to create programming and themes for events that help stand out from a competitive crowd
- Demonstrated skill as an opinionated contributor to copywriting and design for marketing materials, themes, and programming
- Excitement around taking full ownership and accountability for their work and results
- Excellent communicator at both the tactical and executive level
- High sense of urgency for company-level outcomes
What the job involves
- As our Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of key tradeshows, sales-led events, partner-led events, and Hightouch community events
- This is a role where you will take on significant ownership of your programs and outcomes
- You will work closely with marketing leadership to develop a field marketing roadmap and budget tied to key business outcomes
- You will also collaborate with design and product marketing to build event programming and theming
- You will be close partners with our sales team to ensure events are a profitable driver to the business’s bottom line
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of key tradeshows
- Own the development of scalable sales-led and partner-led event programs focusing on key accounts, industries, and personas
- Develop customer relationship programs with key champions and customers to develop brand loyalty and content
- Work closely with the sales leadership and sales team members to ensure engagement and successful business outcomes for each event
- Work closely with product and growth marketing teams to effectively promote field marketing activities
Our take
The use of data integration software involves combining data from different sources to provide users with a unified view. Due to the growing need to combine several heterogeneous data sources, along with the rise of cloud computing, demand for effective data integration tools and services has been increasing.
While Fivetran is one of the most prominent platforms companies use to “extract, transform, and load” data into its warehouse, Hightouch does the opposite of that, what has become known as “reverse ETL.” For example, a company could use Fivetran to get the data into its warehouse and then use Hightouch to get the data from the warehouse and into Salesforce.
Hightouch serves a diverse range of clients, from B2B giants like Kong, Plaid, and Mattermost to B2C leaders like Nando's and Autotrader. With recent acquisitions including the product-led sales automation startup Workbase and the knowledge management startup Whatis, alongside an expanded partnership with Snowflake, Highlight continues to enhance its capabilities and provide seamless data activation for its growing customer base.
