What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth across Mejuri’s Corporate Sales and Events channel
- This role will focus on sourcing new opportunities, booking corporate events, and managing relationships that generate incremental revenue through private shopping events and bulk corporate gifting
- You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing inbound and outbound leads, and converting them into booked events and bulk orders
- This role will work closely with retail teams to ensure successful event execution while owning the revenue target for the corporate sales channel
- Proactively source and pursue new corporate event and gifting opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, and partnerships
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified corporate clients interested in private shopping events and bulk gifting
- Convert leads into booked events and corporate orders to drive revenue growth
- Manage the client-facing booking process for private events and corporate gifting opportunities
- Collect and share necessary event details with store teams to ensure smooth execution
- Support clients in selecting the appropriate event or gifting format for their needs
- Drive revenue through corporate gifting, bulk orders, and private shopping events
- Present corporate packages, pricing, and promotions to prospective clients
- Track opportunities and bookings within CRM systems (Hubspot)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and partners
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the booking process
- Identify repeat opportunities and referrals within existing accounts
- Track pipeline activity, bookings, and revenue performance
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure proper handoff of event details to internal teams
- Provide regular updates on pipeline health and upcoming events

Our take
Traditional jewelry retailers often target men for gifting - in part to make higher mark-ups acceptable. Mejuri, however, is putting the purchasing decision back with women with its direct-to-customer strategy. Instead of releasing large batches of seasonal pieces, Mejuri introduces only a small quantity of products each week, which allows it to translate trends and consumer feedback sentiments into its designs in a timely manner.
Having accumulated millions of visitors to its website, it is clear that Mejuri has captured a lot of interest. It has released over 1,000 designs since its launch, has an impressively long waitlist, and boasts that a large portion of its monthly transactions come from returning customers.
Despite its online focus, Mejuri has opened a number of brick-and-mortar stores across the US, Canada, and the UK. The company's current focus appears to be on this offline expansion, as it tries to push beyond its biggest markets into the other countries it ships to, as well as investing in branding and the customer experience.
