Role
Who you are
- You have at least 2 years experience spanning product analytics, data analytics and data science, and are proficient in SQL and in Python
- You understand what an 80/20 solution is and have experience working quickly, iteratively, and know how to prioritize for impact
- You have experience with some BI and data visualisation tools
- You can prove your ability to lead experimentation: applied statistics, designing and analysing experiments, providing recommendations
- You can speak and write English fluently
What the job involves
- You interpret data, analyse results and provide reports to make business recommendations
- You ensure our product team is rooted in evidence-based decision making: design and report on A/B tests using rigorous hypothesis testing methods, advance our experimentation framework
- You proactively work together with other stakeholders to communicate data-based insights that help drive the company forward
- You identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- You work closely with Product Managers to prioritise business and information needs
Our take
getquin, formerly known as QUIN, offers a social network and portfolio tracking platform aimed at younger private investors. By building software that allows users to aggregate and manage all of their investments in one place, and communicate easily with other enthusiasts as well as industry experts, the company is aiming to become an authoritative platform in the investment industry.
Despite only launching in 2020, getquin has made a promising start under the direction of two experienced financial industry and Fintech professionals. With support from very early-stage VC APX (who was its first investor in N26 bank), it was able to launch smoothly and has since secured further funding from Sino AG and Runa Capital.
getquin is branded to attract Millennial and Gen Z investors is a shrewd move, as the last few years have seen a significant spike in young investors around the world. The company founders have also taken this generation’s privacy concerns seriously, by refusing to sell data to third parties. As long as this remains the case, the company’s potential for major growth looks high.
