Who you are

5+ years of sales experience within the translation industry or 2+ years of experience in SaaS sales (preferred) selling into executives of large enterprises with significant translation spend
Leverage your localization experience to communicate our mission of transforming the global translation industry

What the job involves

We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to join the Smartcat team who is responsible for building relationships, driving revenue and closing business at large enterprises
This is a hunter role, building pipeline and developing a territory mostly through outbound activities (80/20) and requires a high-energy, very organized person with advanced communication skills
Your mission is to identify, source, and close ideal customer prospects to pursue inbound leads and self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve team goals
Your success is measured by contribution to Smartcat’s industry fastest revenue growth rate of 200–400% yearly
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly ARR targets with large enterprise clients with significant translation spend
Manage and own the sales cycle from qualification to close
Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs: pipeline generation, deal velocity and progression towards quota attainment
Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers through outbound sales and territory development
Drive complex deals from initial contact, all the way through to close within a fast paced sales environment
Connect and consult with inbound leads and marketing generated opportunities
Prepare and present software demos with prospects and guide them through the buying process
Leverage sales automation tools to track sales activities
Sell to key decision makers (Directors and VPs)

Smartcat provides an AI-driven translation platform for businesses, allowing them to translate online business content professionally to facilitate brand globalization. The company achieves this by leveraging AI to match businesses with language professionals who specialize in specific content areas, whilst also providing a translation management and payment automation system.

Whilst there is no denying that ever-improving free online translation services will present obstacles for Smartcat, the company recognizes that the results from such solutions are not sufficiently accurate for professional online content. As such, it believes it has a comfortable niche to operate within, benefiting from its place in the roughly $50 billion translation industry.
