Senior Data Analyst, Pomelo Care

• We’re looking to bring on an experienced data analyst to embed directly with our Operations teams and ensure we leverage data when making business decisions
• You are a collaborative problem solver and analytic thinker who is focused on driving impact, and excited to work at a startup. Specifically,
• You have 4+ years professional experience in data analytics, data science, data engineering, or statistical analysis involving SQL
• Passionate about improving maternal health outcomes
• An autonomous individual contributor capable of prioritizing work across various workstreams
• Experienced scoping and implementing data-driven solutions to ambiguous problems, prioritizing efficacy over complexity
• Excited to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including folks who do not share your technical expertise
• A strong communicator and a keen nose for value - someone who can easily and quickly understand the needs of different audiences

• Trustworthy, actionable data plays a critical role in Pomelo’s mission to deliver pregnancy care at scale and improve pregnancy outcomes. In this role, you will generate data and insights for our internal teams that impact how we deliver care to patient
• Become an expert in the data that Pomelo has about our patient care and clinical outcomes, and play a foundational role in building the data culture of Pomelo
• Build recurring and custom reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key operating metrics related to staffing, service volume, and care management
• Partner closely with the Market and Care Operations teams to scope analyses that inform strategic decisions and translate Operation team needs into technical requirements
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual time spent on reporting, and implement solutions using the appropriate technical tools
• Think creatively about how to use data to proactively identify opportunities to improve patient care; define appropriate metrics and create visualizations
