Who you are

What the job involves
- As a hybrid Inbound and Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating new business pipeline by both qualifying inbound leads and proactively prospecting new accounts
- This role is for ambitious individuals who can manage a high-velocity, top-of-funnel sales process while also being strategic in their approach to target accounts
- You will partner with the sales team to uncover new opportunities and help prospects understand the value of Front
- This position requires a competitive spirit, a high sense of urgency, and a passion for sales
- Deliver a best-in-class customer experience for prospects and potential customers of Front
- Quickly identify, qualify, and follow up on inbound leads, such as demo requests and trial sign-ups, via phone, email, and InMail
- Engage in high-velocity outbound activities, including phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, with strategic and personalized messaging to prospects within a targeted book of business
- Become a product expert on the entire Front platform, its value proposition, and the competitive landscape
- Leverage excellent communication and business acumen to build relationships with leads and prospects
- Qualify potential customers to generate new business opportunities and set appointments for Account Executives
- Maintain and update accurate records of all interactions and findings in the CRM
- Partner with marketing, sales, and operations to optimize deal flow and improve lead quality
Our take
When a business receives an email from a customer it can set off a chain of forwarded emails across the company, an inefficient process where information (and sales!) can easily get lost. Front exists to change this, consolidating all customer communications into a single shared inbox which can be accessed by teams of any size and completely eliminates the need for internal emails.
With more companies moving to remote working and eCommerce becoming the predominant form of conducting business, Front's product has been enthusiastically received by over 8,000 companies, including Mailchimp, Shopitfy and Convoy. However it is by no means alone in this space, with huge competitors such as Google and Microsoft providing communications solutions and other internal communications tools such as Slack gaining traction. Front may have an edge here though: its unified solution also provides automated workflows, ticketing and analytical tools that are either absent or less well integrated in competing offerings.
In 2022, Front raised investments in a Series D round and achieved unicorn status with a valuation of over $1 billion. It is moving to futher develop its product and increase its market share, hiring on new talent ahead of a possible IPO in the near future. Definitely watch this space!
