Role
Who you are
- 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, ideally with a strong focus on paid search and/or affiliate
- Proven track record of hitting performance goals and scaling acquisition channels efficiently
- Deep understanding of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and affiliate platforms/networks (e.g., AddRevenue, Finance Ads etc)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Looker/Tableau, Sheets/Excel, etc
- Self-starter who can take ownership, prioritize, and drive impact
- Experience working across multiple markets or languages is a plus
- Passion for pets and Lassie’s mission is a big bonus!
What the job involves
- We're looking for a hands-on and data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to lead and scale our Search and Affiliate marketing efforts across multiple European markets
- This is a key role in Lassie’s Growth team, responsible for driving efficient customer acquisition through Google Search, Bing, and performance-based partnerships
- You’ll own strategy, execution, and optimization—while working closely with local market teams, creative, product, and analytics to ensure sustainable growth with a strong ROI focus
- Own and manage paid search campaigns (Google, Bing) end-to-end: planning, execution, reporting, and optimization
- Scale and optimize our affiliate marketing program, identifying and onboarding high-performing partners
- Collaborate with country managers to adapt and localize acquisition strategies across markets
- Conduct keyword research, A/B testing, and performance deep-dives to drive continuous improvement
- Work closely with the analytics team to track CAC, ROAS, and LTV, and ensure accurate attribution and reporting
- Partner with creative and content teams to test new ad copy and landing pages tailored to search & affiliate channels
- Stay on top of trends and algorithm changes in paid search and affiliate marketing to keep us ahead of the curve
- Coordinate with tech and tracking teams to ensure smooth integrations and partner attribution
Our take
Lassie is aiming to disrupt the pet insurance space with its preventative, mobile app-based insurance for dogs and cats. The idea is to make insurance easier for pet owners, collecting all their policy information in one accessible place, as well as supplying information for them to help their pets lead healthier lives.
Developed in close collaboration with veterinarians and animal care experts, the app gives users access to courses and tips tailored to the breed of their animal, including information on any conditions and diseases that are more prevalent in that breed. The insurance policies are provided by Dina Försäkring, with Lassie acting as an intermediary in that regard.
The pet insurance space is certainly ripe for innovation, with traditional policies often inadequate and confusing, and this is clear in the fact that Lassie is the highest rated pet insurance on Trustpilot. Recent Series B funding will be used to develop Lassie’s team and products, such as its in-app sale of health products for pets, and expand beyond its core bases of Germany and Sweden.
