- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales management role, with a proven track record of managing a successful team. Experience in the EdTech or SaaS industry is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with a strong focus on coaching and development with a keen eye for talent and recruitment as our BDRs of today are our AEs of tomorrow
- Deep understanding of B2B sales development processes, prospecting techniques (inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting, account research), and pipeline management
- Familiarity with Hubspot and sales-related tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Google Workspace
What the job involves
- We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to lead our BDR team
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and growing a team of BDRs who are responsible for the top of the funnel sales process and generate qualified opportunities for Account Executives
- You'll have the opportunity to lead and shape a team, driving their success and contributing directly to FeedbackFruits’ growth.
- This role allows you to implement your strategic vision, refine processes, and leave a lasting impact on the sales organization
- You will work in close collaboration with various departments within our organization, such as Marketing, New Business, Partner Success and Product
- Build, lead, and coach a team of BDRs, creating a motivating and engaging environment that enables professional growth, collaboration, and high performance
- Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program for new BDRs to ensure they are well-equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to succeed
- Set and monitor KPIs for the BDR team, regularly reviewing performance metrics, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement
- Set and manage BDR compensation and quotas and be proactive in ensuring incentivisation plans are aligned with the company goals and paid fairly
- Develop career and progression plans by providing ongoing training, coaching, and support to BDRs to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and understanding of the market
- Collaboration with Sales Ops/Enablement on implementing and managing a best-in-class tech stack to enable BDR success
- Collaborate with the CRO, GM Americas, AE’s and Marketing team to develop and refine prospecting strategies that align with the company's overall sales objectives. Contribute to the development of targeted cadences and initiatives
- Prioritise and categorise accounts and develop the BDR outreach strategy to deliver compelling, buyer-focused conversations, and formalise, in sync with marketing, a multi-touch, multi-channel cadence that integrates calling, email, LinkedIn, and events for a cohesive and aligned engagement approach
- Oversee the lead qualification process, ensuring that BDRs are effectively identifying, nurturing, and qualifying leads. Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and ensure a smooth handoff to Account Executives
- Continuously evaluate and improve the lead qualification process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Implement tools, workflows, and best practices to optimize team performance
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Use this information to refine prospective/sales development strategies and stay ahead of market demands
- Design and implement key BDR initiatives around critical GTM activities (e.g. key events, regional expansion, etc.)
- Stay abreast of market trends, SDR techniques and strategies as well as the education market we serve
- Set and install a reporting and meeting cadence on meaningful metrics focusing on BDR activities, objectives and results with the CRO, VP Marketing and other key stakeholders, including recommendations for strategic adjustments
- Ensure, maintain and implement meaningful, accurate data within CRM and other business systems
- Leverage CRM data and analytics to gain insights into team performance, lead quality, and sales pipeline health. Use these insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
