Who you are

  • Experienced in researching, identifying and presenting key industry trends using external data sources
  • Familiarity with Technology, Ads industry (familiarity with Retail landscape a plus!)
  • Highly analytical and data driven, with proven ability to storytell through data visualization and narrative
  • Experience in building trusted relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable navigating global organization structures and working across cross-functional teams

What the job involves

  • Analyze and understand trends in the retail and ecommerce industry, identifying key performance drivers, changes in consumer behavior and adoption of new technologies
  • Clearly articulate and present actionable insights to the executive team, Sales, Product and engineering leaders, and other cross-functional partners to shape ongoing shopping strategy and execution plan
  • Strategically evaluate new business and product opportunities through connecting internal data with market research

Its immediate goals are to continue to grow its user base and expand the uptake of its short video product, which it aims to monetize.
