• Test engineer interns play a broad role that ranges from working on test plans and procedures to designing test PCBs, along with spending plenty of time in the lab assembling and testing cutting-edge phased array systems and components
• CesiumAstro interns regularly present their work to peers, mentors, and executive leadership throughout the course of the summer
• As such, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Collaborate with the test engineering team to execute tests in the electronics lab, such as functional testing, digital signal integrity verification, or power converter control loop measurements
• Work with test architectures and test systems, including equipment selection, test fixtures, data logging methodology, and interfaces
• Assemble complex test setups, working with design engineers and technicians
• Executing tests at the prototype, qualification, and acceptance stages
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues by applying engineering principles and problem-solving skills
• Collect and analyze data from test processes to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist in quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and root cause analysis for non-conforming products
