Who you are
- The ideal candidate will be able to produce and manage branded content projects, deliver against client requirements, and uphold Raconteur’s high editorial standards
- The ideal candidate will have a degree of experience in a B2B publishing business or a B2B editorial capacity , and have some experience in delivering sponsored/commercial content projects from start to finish
- Strong team player that approaches challenges positively and seeks to proactively solve problems
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, optimism and a forward-looking approach to work
- Excellent and versatile writing and editing skills
- Self-motivated, driven and able to comfortably work autonomously
- Inquisitive, curious and willing to think creatively to create original & engaging content
- Willing to try and fail - can take & act on feedback in a constructive manner
- Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Can see the bigger picture and able to combine pragmatism w/ content excellence when needed

- Very strong understanding of multiple publishing formats and their respective value/benefits to clients
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Commercial Content Editor to join the Commercial Content Team
- The role offers exposure to product strategy, supporting the pitching process and the editorial curation and client management of sponsored content campaigns

- The Commercial Content Team plays a fundamental role in shaping and delivering the branded content that our commercial partnerships and success depend upon
- Strives to bring forward-thinking industry expertise to all commercial projects to differentiate Raconteur to clients and generate content ideas that resonate with Raconteur’s decision-maker audience
- Staying up to date with key trends to demonstrate credible expertise and industry insight that helps you to guide our B2B clients and partners on an effective commercial content strategy
- A commitment to editorial excellence and delivering first-class copy: your editorial or copywriting experience will play an important role from pitching through to commissioning, editing, and publication
- Fluent in the Raconteur CMS and wider tech stack, and strives to be ‘best in class’ when it comes to internal processes, client comms, working with sales, and use of Raconteur’s tech stack
- Plays an active role in cross-team collaboration and large pitch responses and proposals - both execution and ideation, as appropriate
- Working closely with our Project Managers to ensure partnerships run as effectively and efficiently as possible, ensuring deadlines are hit and excellence is maintained throughout
- Collaborating with clients and third-parties to shape the agendas for virtual and in-person discussions, such as roundtables and webinars. Moderating these events, where appropriate
- Defines, maintains and improves CCT editorial standards - understanding the difference between editorial + commercial content, and proactively tries to push and enhance the team’s creative thinking and capabilities
