Who you are
- Consistently make sound, independent decisions in dynamic, ambiguous environments
- Have a strong background in analog and digital design, with expertise in mixed-signal and front-end design
- Bring experience in SDR-style architecture design, working with technologies like FPGA, processors, SoC, DDR, and DAC/ADC
- Are skilled at managing contractors and vendors, ensuring external resources deliver high-quality results aligned with project goals
- Have a strong grasp of electrical first principles
- Enjoy mentoring less experienced team members in areas of expertise
What the job involves
- Own the development and maintenance of the main processor board, including its FPGA and processor, as well as the current driver board responsible for controlling currents to magnetic coils
- Develop and enhance current driver board architectures to control and correct the magnetic characteristics of the system
- Design analog circuits (filters, amplifiers) to meet SNR, stability, and accuracy targets
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and iterative improvements on all assigned components to meet performance and reliability standards
- Support technical investigations on pathfinding projects
- Work hours are flexible, but meetings are typically scheduled between 9 am and 5 pm Eastern Standard Time

The company's offering consists of a wearable device that allows users to monitor their metabolite concentrations through a miniaturised magnetic resonance system. It uses the same underlying principle as in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and is able to detect concentrations of metabolites such as glucose and lactate in real time.
The result is a painless, easy and data-rich way for individuals to measure their blood. With this, Synex’s technology has opened up an entirely new category of applications to enable everyone to understand their bodies and proactively improve their health.
