Product Designer, Squire

• 3–5 years of experience in a product design role or similar
• Proficiency in Figma and collaborative design tools
• Experience with prototyping and usability testing techniques
• Strong understanding of interaction design and responsive layouts across web and mobile
• Familiarity with design systems and interest in contributing to their growth
• Technical curiosity and ability to work effectively with engineers
• Portfolio demonstrating mobile and responsive web app design

Desirable

• As a Product Designer at SQUIRE, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, engaging experiences for our suite of barber management and booking products. You’ll help simplify complex workflows, contribute to evolving design systems, and ensure consistency across platforms. You’ll participate in user research and testing to learn directly from barbers and their clients, translating insights into clear, effective product solutions
• REPORTS TO: Director, Product Design
• Design key product features from concept through delivery
• Advocate for the SQUIRE user, ensuring designs meet their needs and context
• Contribute to the scalability and evolution of our internal design system
• Participate in brainstorming workshops and discovery efforts to gather insights
• Partner with Product Managers and team members to conduct usability testing, both async and live
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
• Translate workflows and systems into clear diagrams to support discussion and decision-making
• Provide design assets to teams supporting marketing and customer engagement, as needed
