Who you are
- This role requires a strategic, results-driven individual with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build lasting relationships with senior-level decision-makers across various industries
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling to the mid-market segment (500-2,000 employees) at a national level, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or employee benefits sectors.
- Expertise in managing a complex sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals
- Strong understanding of employee benefits, mental health, wellness programs, or corporate healthcare solutions is highly preferred.
- Exceptional consultative sales skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM tools, especially Salesforce, to track and manage sales activities.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast- paced, remote environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively
- Articulate complex solutions to a diverse audience
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25-30% of the time)
What the job involves
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Business Development team
- As a Senior Account Executive at Talkspace, you will focus on driving growth within the Mid-Market segment on a national scale
- You will play a pivotal role in expanding our business by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
- You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring that Talkspace’s solutions meet the unique needs of organizations in the mid-market space
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the best client experience and contribute to the company’s overall revenue goals
- Sales Leadership: Take ownership of your sales territory, focusing on Mid-Market accounts with a national scope. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in alignment with Talkspace’s business objectives
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, target, and prospect potential clients across various industries, leveraging inbound leads, outbound outreach, and networking.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Engage with senior decision-makers (HR leaders, C- suite executives, benefits managers, and other key stakeholders) to understand their organizational needs and provide tailored mental health solutions through Talkspace.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiating and closing contracts. Ensure a smooth handoff to the customer success and implementation teams.
- Pipeline Development & Reporting: Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce, forecast accurately, and meet/exceed sales targets
- Provide regular updates on progress, obstacles, and key wins
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to align on messaging, client needs, and deliverables.
- Industry & Market Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to position Talkspace as a thought leader and trusted partner.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring clients’ continued satisfaction with Talkspace’s services.
