Business Development Representative, Tiger Data

• We don't require previous experience with our tech stack, but enthusiasm for learning is key. Our technologies include PostgreSQL, Tiger Cloud, AWS, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and innovative features like Hypertables, Hypercore, vector search, and real-time analytics

• As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will support our sales team by generating meetings and creating pipeline by identifying and engaging key prospects. You’ll generate pipeline through a mix of inbound lead follow-up, outbound to assigned target accounts, and self-sourced prospecting, crafting a clear point of view for why Tiger Data is a great fit

• Convert inbound leads and qualify “in-market” opportunities
• Prospect into assigned target accounts and self-source new opportunities
• Cold call regularly and run multichannel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)
• Research accounts, identify the right buyers, and tailor messaging
• Build sequences that create urgency and drive replies
• Develop a clear account POV (why now, why Tiger Data, why it matters) and earn meetings
• Partner with AEs to align on account strategy, messaging, and next steps
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in Salesforce and related tools
• Attend industry conferences and events as needed
