Company mission
To unite data, no matter where it lives, and empower its users to analyze, take action, and make smart decisions.
Role
Who you are
- 3-5 years in field or regional marketing, or events, including end-to-end ownership of programs
- Strong project, time, and stakeholder management, with consistent attention to detail
- Independent proficiency with Splash, Zuddl, Salesforce, and Monday.com or similar
- Demonstrated experience operationalizing AI in marketing work: reusable prompts, documented processes, or lightweight automations
- Open source go-to-market motion and the regional market a plus
- Willingness to travel approximately 40%
What the job involves
- In this role, you are responsible for executing regional marketing strategy and independently leading programs that drive measurable business outcomes. Working within regional priorities, you are trusted to make decisions, adapt plans as conditions change, and take ownership of program performance from planning through results
- Approximately 50% of your work is self-directed, requiring sound judgment, strong prioritization, and accountability for outcomes. Success in this role comes from balancing execution with strategic thinking, identifying opportunities for improvement, and sharing best practices that increase team effectiveness
- You are expected to leverage AI as a core part of your work, applying it thoughtfully to improve productivity, scale repeatable processes, and enhance decision-making. This includes identifying where AI can create efficiencies, where human judgment remains essential, and developing workflows that can be adopted across the team
- Lead regional marketing programs from planning through execution and retrospective, including program strategy, budget management, goal setting, delivery, and performance reporting
- Execute ABM and regional marketing initiatives, partnering closely with Sales and SDR teams while contributing to prioritization and program planning
- Independently manage day-to-day decisions, proactively address risks, and escalate issues when appropriate
- Serve as a proficient user of core marketing platforms, including Splash, Zuddl, Salesforce, and Monday.com, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and tooling
- Develop and document AI-enabled workflows that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across marketing operations, event execution, and reporting
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation across regional marketing programs and contribute to the development of shared team processes and best practices
- Analyze program performance and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Plan and manage projects independently, set realistic timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver on commitments
- Provide guidance and support to Associates, contractors, and other team members on shared initiatives
- Build expertise in Grafana's go-to-market strategy, regional marketing programs, and the ecosystem of channels, vendors, and partners that support growth
- What success looks like at:
- The program you own runs cleanly, from start to finish, and hits its goals
- You keep moving as priorities shift, without direction at each step
- Problems get caught and handled before a customer ever feels them
- Your reporting leaves people with a story and a lesson, not just numbers
- The AI workflows you build get picked up by others, so the team produces more without adding headcount
- You find and close process gaps, and the junior teammates you guide do better work for it
Our take
Observability plays a crucial role in software development, where dashboards are pivotal for monitoring the health of IT infrastructure across an organization. However, for developers, the frustration of spending unnecessary time navigating between different dashboards to find the latest information detracts from valuable programming time.
Grafana creates customizable observability platforms for its clients, to enhance the efficiency of this process. Its offerings include cloud-based data structures, dashboards, API plugins, and collaboration tools. The company boasts over 25 million users globally, with a customer base exceeding 5,000 and including prominent names like Bloomberg, PJ Morgan Chase, eBay, PayPal and Sony.
While Grafana provides free plans with a simplified tool package, the Grafana Enterprise Stack offers customized solutions on a monthly subscription. The company's continues to improve to meet the evolving needs of its users, enhancing functionality with each iteration. It also fosters community engagement by enabling users to share their Grafana dashboards with the broader open-source community.
