Sales Development Representative, Github

• The ideal candidate will have the aptitude and passion to become a master of GitHub’s product capabilities, underlying technology, and competitive advantages
• 6+ months of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or marketing
• OR High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent
• OR equivalent experience
• Ability to work two days a week from the San Francisco office or the Bellevue office

• As a Sales Development Representative you will profile ideal customers and markets for inbound lead generation, breaking into the largest companies in the world

• Qualifes inbound prospective customer inquiries to identify appropriate parties to partner with/sell to by conducting a customer assessment of current needs and delivering the correct value proposition to meet those needs
• Ensures proper handoff of prospective customer relationships to sales representatives, contributing to the assessment and pursuit of opportunities for partners/customers to leverage GitHub platforms/products by identifying, quantifying, and qualifying opportunities with guidance from others
• Identies the appropriate executive-level stakeholder within customers to connect and work with, in
• Cooperation with the sales representative in pursuit of new business generation
• Participates in discussions with customers/partners to align and help determine customer/partner needs and desired outcomes for a customer engagement
• In 30 days you will be through on-boarding, making your first impact on the team
