Company mission
To give all organizations unprecedented visibility and control over their business spend.
Role
Who you are
- 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with significant Product Marketing leadership experience and direct people management
- You’ve owned company-level positioning and messaging for a multi-product or complex SaaS platform, including a meaningful repositioning, category shift, or evolution in market narrative
- You’ve led go-to-market strategy across a product portfolio, from segmentation and launch strategy through sales enablement, customer communications, and market adoption
- You know how to turn customer, competitive, win/loss, and market insight into decisions on positioning, roadmap, pricing, packaging, and where the business invests
- You’ve built credibility with senior executives, Sales, Product, Customer Success, customers, and industry analysts, and can influence decisions without relying on organizational authority
- You’ve built and coached a high-performing Product Marketing team, raised the quality bar for the function, and helped marketers meaningfully grow their craft and careers
- You’re commercially minded and comfortable measuring Product Marketing against business outcomes, including pipeline, adoption, retention, and competitive performance
- You’re AI-fluent in practice, not theory. You’ve changed how a team works using AI, built repeatable workflows around it, and can point to meaningful improvements in the quality or scale of the work
- You are an exceptional writer and storyteller who still does the work yourself. You can turn a complex platform into differentiated, credible language that a CFO can understand and repeat
- You maintain an up-to-date LinkedIn profile and ensure it is refreshed upon joining, to reflect your role at Procurify and help maintain a consistent, professional presence across our GTM team
- If you feel like you don’t meet all of the requirements for this role, we encourage you to apply anyway. We know that feelings of imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates, and we certainly don’t want those feelings to get in the way of meeting you! We really want to get to know you and why you're great for the role. Please avoid including your picture and age on your resume
What the job involves
- Procurify is the agentic procurement platform that helps mid-market organizations get complete control over their spend
- We’re trusted by hundreds of companies around the world, across industries like biotechnology, education, health care, manufacturing, and software, to manage over $100B in spend
- Product marketing sits at the center of how we're understood in that market, and we're hiring a Director to lead it
- Procurify is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to define how we compete and win. You'll own the company narrative, the messaging architecture our go-to-market organization builds on, how we segment and prioritize the market, and the analyst relationships that influence how Procurify is understood
- This is a chance to help define Procurify's next stage of growth as the agentic procurement platform. You'll be at the center of translating that strategy into positioning, messaging, assets, and programs that drive demonstrable impact across our go-to-market organization
- This is a senior seat on the marketing leadership team, with full visibility across the company and regular engagement with executives. You'll lead two Product Marketing Managers. You'll raise their craft, sharpen their judgment, and expand what they're capable of owning, building both the team's impact and their careers as leaders in their own right
- This is a true player-coach role. Your PMMs own their product portfolios, and you'll guide their strategy and raise the quality of their work while directly owning company-level and cross-portfolio initiatives yourself. It's hands-on by design: you get the scope and influence of a senior leader while staying close to the craft
- AI fluency is table stakes for this role. We expect AI to be foundational to how you analyze information, build workflows, create and evaluate work, and scale the team's impact without compromising quality
- Own Procurify's positioning strategy and define how we differentiate in the procurement market
- Build and maintain the company-level narrative and messaging architecture as the single source of truth across all surfaces, and translate it into positioning teams can execute against
- Own the AI and agentic narrative: make the platform's intelligence concrete, credible, and differentiated for finance and operations buyers
- Own market segmentation and use it to direct where we invest and who we talk to
- Own the voice of the customer with deep customer research and win/loss analysis
- Use product, customer, funnel, and market data to identify patterns, test assumptions, and turn evidence into clear strategic recommendations
- Shape Procurify's analyst relations strategy and narrative, building credible relationships with top-tier analyst firms and influencing how the company and category are represented
- Act as a credible external voice on procurement and the agentic shift through analyst briefings, press, and webinars
- Set the execution standard and quality bar for the function, along with the operating rhythms that keep it consistent
- Own launch strategy across the portfolio and decide which messages and formats get tested in the market, in partnership with demand generation
- Own the strategy for direct-to-customer communications: launch and product-news emails, in-app posts, in-app tours, and lifecycle journeys
- Report and analyze product marketing's contribution to pipeline, adoption, and retention
- Build an AI-enabled Product Marketing practice that improves the quality, consistency, and scale of the function
- Establish shared tools, context, and repeatable workflows across core PMM work, and partner with Marketing’s AI specialists to make Product Marketing a model for effective AI-assisted work
- Influence the roadmap, pricing, packaging, and launch sequencing with market, customer, and competitive insight
- Own the enablement deliverable set for each product portfolio with your PMMs, including positioning one-pagers, battlecards, playbooks, demo narratives, and objection handling, maintained as living resources in our library rather than launch-day artifacts
- Train Sales and Customer Success on messaging, use cases, and differentiation
- Set the standard for how competitive intelligence gets gathered and used by go-to-market teams
- Coach two Product Marketing Managers: raise their craft, give direct feedback, hold a high bar on the work, and map a clear path to their next level
- Own the team's structure, culture, and operations: the processes, templates, and shared standards that keep output consistent across portfolios, whoever is doing the work
- Own the team's plan: what it takes on each quarter, what it defers, and how portfolio coverage is split across the two PMMs
Our take
Business spending can be complex and intimidating, and companies often need to navigate multiple platforms. Companies need to find a way to make business decisions that are simple, well informed and ideally all on one platform.
Procurify helps businesses by assisting them to understand and align their organizational spending with their core values and business objectives. The company's procurement software offers a structured method that gains and tracks approvals for spending. The platform organises all purchasing and spend documents, and enhance the information that’s already in the accounting system.
The company is the leading spend management, purchasing, and procurement software platform and is used by hundreds of companies. More than just a platform, Procurity is focused on creating a new way of thinking about finance with that it calls Spend Culture, which helps teams make smarter, more purposeful spending decisions every day.
