Who you are
- If you have deep knowledge of Human Capital Management software and posses software presales experience (or related experience presenting and demonstrating HCM applications to a C-level audience), this is your chance to help organizations improve their business operations and employee experience through adoption of a modern and comprehensive Enterprise Management Cloud
- Professional experience in a Pre-Sales / Sales Consulting / HR role
- Expertise knowledge of administrative systems around HR
- Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in both French and English
- Strong presentation skills
- An understanding of Cloud-based HCM SaaS solutions is desired
- Strong HR functional experience
- Experience of presenting administrative computing solutions in front of a technical and business audience
What the job involves
- Workday is looking for an experienced Presales Solution Consultant with Human Capital Management (HCM) expertise to join our Net New Large Enterprise Team
- Human Capital Management (HCM) Solution Consultants leverage their in-depth product knowledge of Workday’s HCM enterprise software and industry knowledge to provide deep functional expertise throughout the sales process
- Working as part of the Solution Consulting team, individual Solution Consultants partner with Account Executives to engage in discovery around an organization's current environment and deliver relevant, impactful presentations and product demonstrations that illustrate how Workday’s Enterprise applications can address requirements, solve business concerns, and create value
- Presales are involved throughout the sales cycle from initial qualification, discovery through tailored product demonstrations, deep dives and including executive level presentations
- You will act as a trusted adviser to prospects and customers and provide consultation on product capability and value
- The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops and seminars
- To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services and training
- To contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans
- Being a real Account team lead to follow your customers, understand their strategies and help them expand their Workday footprint to support that strategy
- Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives
- To assist sales in the response to RFIs

Workday is a cloud-based software vendor that provides management of workforces and finances. The company uses a single database for workforce management and financial management to offer integration and optimize business intelligence across companies. It has added to the packages and tools it offers over the years, providing analytic options that allow companies to combine third-party data with information collected by Workday.
Workday has acquired and paired up with many other companies to keep expanding its offering. In 2021, it purchased the employee feedback platform Peakon in response to the growing need for managers to be able to survey workers and collect satisfaction data without face-to-face meetings. The company has also bought and developed many financial tools and HR management tools.
The company’s goal is to provide end-to-end back office services and while there are other providers, such as UKG Pro and Ceridian HCM, Workday’s broad offering helps them to stand out. Though it faced a tough global market in 2023 and has shed some of its headcount, Workday has seen a 6.5% gain in value in the first quarter of 2024. It is now focusing on growth and developing the AI capabilities of its platform. .
