Role
Who you are
- This role requires a solid technical background in Linux and Python, with C++ knowledge as a bonus
- Leadership, strong project management, and the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds are essential
- You have a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computational Linguistics or a related field
- Your experience in technical program management includes Linux, Python, C++, ASR or other AI technologies
- You demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, managing complex projects in a dynamic, international environment
- You have been involved in large automotive projects
- You speak additional European or Asian languages — preferred
What the job involves
- We are searching for a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee the development and deployment of our voice AI technology across global partnerships including top automakers
- Lead and coordinate engineering teams focusing on developing advanced voice assistant systems
- Serve as the primary point of technical contact for international partners, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication across cultural boundaries
- Develop detailed project documentation, oversee project scope, schedule, and deployment
- Address and mitigate project risks, spearheading problem resolution to ensure project success
- Foster a collaborative international work environment, respecting and integrating diverse cultural perspectives in project planning and execution

The applications for top tier tech of this sort are vast, from automotive innovation through to restaurant management, and SoundHound is firmly leading the pack.
SoundHound has developed products with unrivalled accuracy across nearly two dozen languages, giving them a real edge over Google and Amazon’s competing products. To consolidate this lead, the company also made a number of strategic, big-name partnerships to broaden their products’ uptake, with the likes of Tencent, Hyundai, Nvidia, and Samsung counted among them.
By keeping its products customizable and broadly applicable, SoundHound was successful in its IPO bid, which will cement its position globally as the sector continues to develop. Although taking a hit from the poor economic climate, alongside many of its fellows, the company has secured post-IPO funds. It paid off its post-IPO debt in 2024, making it lighter on its feet as it captures new markets and customers in the voice-enabled AI sector.
