What the job involves

Clio is seeking a results-driven Partner Marketing Manager who thrives at the intersection of brand visibility and revenue generation to join our team in Toronto or Calgary
In this role, you will be responsible for two critical engines of growth: maintaining the "air cover" that keeps our ecosystem engaged and executing the strategic co-marketing campaigns that drive referrals and sales pipeline
Initially, you will provide essential coverage for our Channel Marketing programs—ensuring our "always-on" communications, newsletters, and webinars continue to educate our partners and keep Clio top-of-mind
As you transition to a permanent focus on our Tier 1 ISV partners, you will take the lead in developing high-impact marketing plans that highlight our "better together" value proposition
You will be the owner of the partner funnel, ensuring our data is clean, our attribution is accurate, and our marketing efforts deliver high-quality leads to the sales team
Whether you are orchestrating the Partner Impact Summit or optimizing a referral campaign, your mission is to turn our partner ecosystem into a powerful, scalable source of new business for Clio
Our dynamic team is data-driven and results-focused, with a focus on meaningful engagement with the legal community, our customers, and our prospects to support our business goals
The Strategic Engagement Team has a diverse portfolio: managing bar partnerships, live events, monthly meetups, Clio’s CLE and marketing webinars, partner marketing, and the company’s user conference, ClioCon

Our take

Modern law firms increasingly manage their work digitally but the lack of a specialised remote solution means that workflows have become fragmented. This leads to legal practice managers having to juggle multiple software solutions across various devices.

Clio provides a legal practice management platform designed for law firms, allowing users to manage billing for legal aid cases, access and manage documents and store files across multiple devices. Whilst other startups are operating in this niche, Clio has uniquely focussed on synchronisation across remote devices and on a wide range of integrations, allowing the user to access information from other industry standard software such as Xero and Klyant from within a single interface.

Clio has raised a large amount of investment capital and benefited from the COVID-era move to cloud technologies. Most recently, it raised a 2024 Series F round, which saw the company attain a valuation exceeding $3 billion. This funding is being used to accelerate AI development and to allow existing investors and employees to cash out their shares.
