Role

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field
  • Proficient understanding of basic accounting theory (e.g. Accounts Receivable & Revenue)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ + CRM
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and multi-task within a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

What the job involves

  • Own billing, payments and contract management processes for various ServiceTitan and affiliate products, partnering cross-functionally across departments (Sales, Legal, Revenue Operations, Onboarding, Support, Success, AR/Collections)
  • Oversee billing and contracts functions by leading and managing new and existing workflows
  • Manage M&A activity by partnering with Deal Desk to ensure accuracy in account and opportunity records
  • Assist with month-end close responsibilities related to billing and partner with Revenue Accounting to ensure revenue is appropriately recognized following US GAAP
  • Partner with Revenue Operations Accounting Manager to support centrally billed ServiceTitan customers, parent/child accounts, and strategic accounts by preparing billing usage files and centralized invoices monthly
  • Partner with our IT and Revenue Accounting teams on ongoing migration to Salesforce CPQ+Billing and Workday revenue
  • Assist with various billing-related reporting, including ad hoc requests
  • Manage a team of individuals

The rising demand for home services across the country helped shine a spotlight on the lack of modern software for trades, ServiceTitan answered this call for innovation providing support to 11,800+ customers across 10 trades.

2021 saw the company reach a $9.5 billion valuation, however, in the last few months of 2022, there was talk of raising additional funds in traditional equity - as opposed to debt-like funding- which could result in a 20% lower valuation.

That said, the company is showing no sign of slowing, acquiring two more companies in 2022, and is eyeing an IPO off the back of reaching Series G in funding rounds. In addition, the company launched its next-generation operating system, Titan Intelligence, providing a suite of AI-based solutions. ServiceTitan is well set to experience further growth.
