Who you are
- The ideal candidate excels at building trusted relationships, managing multiple priorities, and driving partner engagement that fuels revenue growth
- 5+ years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or business development in the tech or SaaS space, with a proven track record managing strategic alliances with Hyperscalers like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Direct experience working with Hyperscaler partner programs, co-sell motions, and marketplace listings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex workflows and sales handoffs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable building relationships within large, matrixed organizations
- Experience with Hyperscaler partner portals (e.g., AWS ACE, Microsoft Partner Center)
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a strong desire to drive mutual partner and customer success
- A "builder" mentality combined with a "hunter" spirit; you're excited by the opportunity to develop a program and be directly compensated for the revenue it generates
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
What the job involves
- We're looking for a Strategic Alliance Lead to own and shape our crucial relationships with hyperscalers like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure
- N this role, you will qualify and manage partner opportunities (co-sell, resale, referral), coordinate seamless sales handoffs, and provide tailored support based on partner maturity and needs
- This role will play a key part in ensuring high-quality sales, optimizing partner collaboration, and enabling scalable success across our partner/channel ecosystem
- Own the strategic relationships with Hyperscaler partners (Google, AWS, Microsoft) in North America, helping them navigate the joint sales process and driving mutual success
- Drive the entire partner sales motion, from qualifying high-value opportunities to managing the co-sell process and ensuring a seamless handoff to our sales team
- Provide critical business insights by analyzing partner pipeline and performance data to optimize our strategy and accelerate deal conversion
- Empower our partners by assisting in developing and delivering enablement programs that equip their teams to effectively position and sell our solutions
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key partner stakeholders, including Partner Development Managers and field sellers, providing timely updates and guidance
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the Hyperscaler referral and co-sell motion, including managing our listings and strategy on partner marketplaces
- Make impact by identifying opportunities for deeper partner engagement, upsell potential, or partner-led deal acceleration within the cloud ecosystem
- Direct Business Impact: You will be at the heart of our growth engine, with a clear line of sight between your work and our revenue success
- High-Level Visibility: You'll work directly with leadership and key stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product, becoming a go-to expert on our most strategic partnerships
- Build Something Enduring: This isn't just about managing accounts. You will have the autonomy to refine and scale our hyperscaler co-sell motion, leaving a lasting mark on how we go to market

Our take
Over the course of well over a decade, Sinch has grown into an international service helping enterprise companies communicate with their customers over text, in-app video/voice messages, and other mobile channels. Used by Google, Tinder, Uber, and PayPal, among other marquee enterprise companies, most customers will have crossed paths with Sinch.
The company’s rise is due in part to an increased marketing focus on cultivating a highly personalised relationship between customer and brand. In part, too, it’s down to the surge in custom Sinch saw over recent years when more familiar channels of customer/brand communication went down. That seems to have settled now, but personalized messages, over text specifically, continues to play well among younger consumers.
It's going to prove a tough market to navigate going forward, though. Equally well-established competitors like Twilio, 8x8, and Link Mobility Group all have similar offerings. Sinch's foray into conversational AI will help them keep pace, as will their steady march of acquisitions, fundraising to fuel scaling efforts and partnerships with the likes of Salesforce.
