Data Analyst, NEC Software Solutions

• Strong professional background and experience in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of data
• Strong technical skills in the development and execution of database queries (Microsoft SQL)
• Experience of working in a service-based environment (either in a supplier organisation or provision of an internal service)
• Experience of working with industry standard reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS)

Desirable

• As a member of the Healthcare Team, the Healthcare Data Analyst plays a key role in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of healthcare data across NEC’s services, for delivery to a wide-range of healthcare related organisations
• Based upon the underlying data captured through NEC’s healthcare services, the focus of the role is to work with customers, prospects and other NEC staff to understand reporting requirements from this data, and to use reporting tools such as Power BI and SQL Server to develop and test these reports in line with customer and market requirements
• The role will also, at times, necessitate the User Acceptance Testing of reports produced for publication to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• The Healthcare Data Analyst will also use market knowledge and customer intelligence in order to specify and develop reports that enhance the value of NEC’s propositions its customers and to the wider healthcare market
