- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience working in a customer service setting (preferably at a premium brand)
- 1+ years of experience of building customer relationships and resolving customer complaints
- 1+ years of experience in identifying and solving customer issues, collaborating with teams to address challenges, and finding solutions to enhance customer satisfaction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, are organized, and able to follow through
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software a plus
What the job involves
- This is a remote seasonal role, starting in October through December 2025
- Minted is a design marketplace, sourcing creative content from independent artists around the globe and selling the best designs to the world in the form of art, home decor, and stationery
- We are looking for Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to join our team for the holiday season and to provide outstanding service to our customers
- CSRs use their problem-solving and people skills while working directly with our customers to address their questions through multiple channels – phone, email & live chat
- Reporting to a Customer Service Team Supervisor, CSRs have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are savvy in working with a variety of systems and technology
- Minted CSRs are exceptionally patient, empathetic, and passionate team members whose #1 objective is to offer the best experience possible for any customer
- Provide excellent customer service through various channels, including live chats, emails, and phone calls
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally
- Provide customers with support about Minted products and promotions, as well as general order information; provide assistance with processing orders and customizing designs
- Document customer interactions thoroughly and accurately in our CRM, while following departmental policies
- Use support tools & training including our knowledge base to provide a seamless customer experience
- Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and share those with Customer Service leadership
- Attain the highest quality possible, with accountability for your own Quality and Productivity KPIs
Our take
Minted is a design marketplace, sourcing creative content from a global community of artists, using technology and crowdsourcing to give consumers access to independent creatives unavailable through traditional retailers.
With the success of sites like Etsy allowing consumers to buy direct from artisans, Minted sets itself apart by holding monthly art and design challenges which are open for both submission and voting. The ‘crowd’ curates Minted’s product selection by rating products, and Minted utilizes analytics to evaluate votes. The winning designs go into production which is taken care of by Minted's fulfillment house and the designers receive a 6%-10% cut of the sales.
Its unique ‘design by upvoting’ business model has led to almost $300M in funding, with backing from Benchmark Capital and IDG Ventures. As contests draw in more designers, the company is looking to expand beyond Minted.com and into physical retail, finding new ways to use the designs and creating fresh income streams for themselves and their artists.
