Role
Who you are
- Part qualified CCAB (ACA, ICAS, CAI, ACCA, etc.) or CIMA accountant (essential)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience with VAT and tax compliance processes is desirable
- Experience with oracle cloud (desirable)
- Experience in practice or in an external reporting team in industry (desirable)
What the job involves
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Financial Accountant to join our finance team.
- This role will support the preparation of statutory accounts, management reporting, and compliance activities across our UK and EU entities.
- The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Assist with the preparation of UK and EU VAT returns as required
- Prepare journals for UK/EU entities, covering a wide range of areas
- Support the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations when required
- Prepare and provide deliverables to external advisors for UK/EU accounts and tax returns
- Assist with audit deliverables and accounts preparation across UK and EU entities
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide financial and statutory information as needed
