Role
Who you are
- Must have 3+ years closing experience including some experience with large accounts. The ideal candidate will have ~5 years closing experience, experience in supply chain and/or large consumer-facing verticals such as CPG, food & beverage, or pharma, and have worked in a startup or similar environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients
- Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with sales tech tools (e.g., CRM, Sales Navigator)
- Passion for climate tech, AI, and data-driven solutions that drive real-world impact
- A curious and growth mindset, eager to learn and develop within a scaling company
What the job involves
- Owning and supporting lead generation efforts, including tailored cold outreach campaigns, collaborating with marketing, and attending events
- Owning sales cycle and relationships with prospects from discovery through proposals, negotiation, and closing
- Managing the sales pipeline, ensuring diligent task management, forecasting, keeping CRM (HubSpot) records up to date, etc
- Ensuring customer handoffs and ongoing relationships are handled with care for a smooth experience for new clients, as well as assisting with renewals, expansion, and upsells for key accounts
- Working closely with senior sales team members to develop and execute sales strategies and mentoring more junior team members
- Collaborating with marketing and product teams to communicate value propositions and insights
