Who you are
- We're looking for a highly ambitious, winning-obsessed, and driven Chief of Staff, Growth to join our team
- 3+ years of experience
- B2B health startup, consulting firm, and/or investment banking experience
- 0 to 1 spirit - you understand that there won't be checklist on what to do all the time. YOU will create it when its needed
- Excel - need to be able to whip up sheets at the ready and fluently
- Impeccable attention to detail and the little stuff bothers you. You want us to look good

What the job involves
- This role is unique as you'll do what it takes to growth this business and have a wide range of skillsets to make it happen. You'll work directly with the Founder & CEO, Head of Strategic Initiatives and Head of Clinical Partnerships to drive deals, and build the systems to scale our go-to-market motion
- You'll crank out proposals, manage accounts, build sales strategies, build microsites in Lovable (or the AI tool of your choice) - you'll do it all, because you're mission as the CoS is to make sure we're successful. And when we need help across other areas of the business you'll dive in there too - plus you can because you've got the skillset to execute across the board
- Tldr; you're the go-to person at your job and you love to win
- Build up our sales operations and infra by creating repeatable processes, sales collateral, proposals, decks, and internal systems as we go from 0 to 1
- Create and execute strategy across growth taking into account all needs (sales, marketing, ops, product, etc.)
- Build and develop relationships with our prospective clients. They'll need to like you - this business runs on strong rapport
- Work directly with the Founder & CEO on high-priority projects spanning sales, marketing, operations, and strategy
- Use AI tools like Lovable to create helpful new internal apps and external microsites (i.e. sales calculator)
- Customer success work - you'll make sure our existing partners have what they need and that they not only renew with us, but consistently grow year over year
- Most importantly is any and everything. Nothing is beneath you and nothing is above you. You're wide open to anything
Our take
In the US, the hospice care industry represents a substantial market, with an estimated worth of approximately $35 billion, with projections suggesting that this market is poised to nearly double in size by 2030. However, for-profit hospices and other similar end-of-life care providers are all too often linked to sub-par standards of care and customer service.
Jessica McGlorly, Founder and CEO of Guaranteed, personally experienced the shortcomings of end-of-life care when her father was in critical condition. Motivated by this firsthand experience and driven to provide a superior alternative, she embarked on a mission by launching Guaranteed. The startup has pioneered a novel approach, blending in-person visits by certified caregivers with round-the-clock telehealthcare services. Furthermore, Guaranteed goes beyond this, by offering a wealth of educational and grief-management resources to support families during this emotionally challenging period.
It's making significant strides too, fueled by substantial funding to sustain its rapid growth. Notably, within the expansive healthtech market, end-of-life care has remained largely overlooked. This sector, traditionally institutional and lacking distinct brands, presents an intriguing opportunity for Guaranteed to flourish. Positioned as a frontrunner in the relatively untapped space, the company is ready to fill a critical gap and bring much-needed innovation and customer-centric care to the world of end-of-life services.
