What the job involves

  • The U.S. Sales Development team at Amplitude is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic New York office!
  • As the first point of contact for potential customers, the SDR team plays a critical role in driving pipeline generation and revenue growth
  • We focus on strategic outreach, creative prospecting, and building meaningful relationships with Fortune 500 executives
  • By collaborating closely with Account Executives, leveraging personalization, and attending events, SDRs lay the foundation for Amplitude’s expansion into new and existing accounts
  • This role provides a unique opportunity to gain expertise in sales, marketing, and account management
  • Through Amplitude’s robust training and development program, you’ll gain the skills necessary to excel not just in this role, but also in future career opportunities
  • Drive new business by creating opportunities in the Enterprise segment through outbound prospecting, networking, and attending events
  • Target and convert key inbound prospects and outbound accounts using personalized campaigns and strategic research
  • Develop a strong understanding of Amplitude’s product offerings to support discovery calls and evaluation cycles with potential customers
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, SDR Leadership, and Enablement teams to identify best practices and share learnings
  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual targets while maintaining a high standard of excellence

Amplitude provides product analytics to help companies understand user behaviour. Product, marketing, and growth teams use Amplitude to discover and share insights about user engagement, retention, and revenue.

Amplitude’s user flows reveal which actions are the most commonly taken after users sign up, and which usually precede purchases made in-app, creating paths through the app. The behaviour of individual app users can be viewed with unlimited real-time activity feeds and user timelines.

Thousands of companies use Amplitude analytics including Microsoft, Under Armour, Intuit, Twitter, Bonobos, Peloton, and many more. In 2024, a securities fraud case was filed against Amplitude due to an IPO and stock share rise that was alleged to be artificially inflated before their downturn in 2022. Whilst this case is ongoing, Amplitude is still releasing new products and operating at full capacity.
