What the job involves

- Our team combines decades of market research knowledge, incredible engineering ability, and experience building companies. You'll sit within the research team, working closely with Research Insight Leads and Client Success to keep projects running smoothly
- As a Research Ops Associate at Conveo, you will be the operational backbone of our research projects
- Your job is to make sure studies run on time, participants are recruited, and guides are checked - so nothing falls through the cracks
- This is not a passive coordination role. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, figures things out independently, and gets things done without needing constant direction
- You will own day-to-day delivery and support senior researchers and client success managers, building the operational habits that make great research repeatable. The best people in this role will grow into Research or Client Success functions over time
- Manage participant recruitment end-to-end:
- Coordinate recruitment across panel providers to ensure the right participants are sourced for each study
- Monitor recruitment progress, track quotas, and flag issues early - including slow recruitment, quality concerns, or participant drop-off
- Review participant interviews for quality and fraud signals, ensuring only valid responses are counted
- Liaise with panel partners to troubleshoot issues and keep studies on track
- Keep study quality high:
- Review and quality-check discussion guides before studies go live, making sure they're accurate, well-structured, and ready for participants
- Complete quality assurance tasks across active projects, catching errors before they become problems
- Support Research Insight Leads in maintaining the high standard Conveo is known for
- Keep operations running smoothly:
- Track project status accurately across multiple live studies at once
- Communicate clearly and proactively within the team — raising risks early and keeping everyone informed
- Build and maintain good operational habits that make processes faster and more reliable over time

Qualitative research has long been one of the most valuable (and painful) parts of building products and brands. It's slow, expensive, and often skipped altogether, leaving teams to make big decisions without full insight. There's a massive market for better customer understanding and it's only growing, yet traditional methods just aren't keeping up. So, Conveo is stepping in to change that.
It's doing so by acting as an AI-powered research coworker. Instead of weeks of planning, scheduling, interviewing, and analysis, teams can run hundreds of AI-moderated video interviews overnight, and in over 50 languages. The impact of this is huge, saving days or even weeks of work and surfacing insights humans might miss. And crucially, every insight links back to the original transcript, so researchers can trust and verify what the AI finds.
What's especially impressive is how quickly Conveo is gaining momentum. Despite being pretty new to the scene, the company has already raised $5.3M in seed funding. This early traction and a clear vision for what's next (from multimodal interviews to long-term knowledge analysis), positions Conveo as more than just a promising startup.
