What the job involves
- This is not a traditional sales role. It’s a chance to join a high-growth startup at a pivotal moment, take real ownership of expansion, and build a career with no ceiling. The impact you make here will be visible, measurable, and directly tied to how far you want to go
- You’ll be on the front lines of Innovamat’s U.S. growth — opening new markets, shaping how we scale, and stepping into problems that don’t yet have a clear owner but are critical to the business
- If you’re excited by ambiguity, love building from scratch, and want exposure well beyond a typical sales remit, keep reading
- You’ll own relationships with district leaders, lead consultative first meetings, and partner closely with senior leaders and math experts to close transformational, district-level deals
- Success here isn’t about maintaining accounts — it’s about hunting, building pipeline, launching new districts, and driving net-new revenue, while also contributing to how we grow as an organization
- Prospect relentlessly: Build new district relationships through outbound outreach, creative approaches, and strong local presence
- Lead first meetings: Run consultative conversations that uncover district needs and spark excitement around a new approach to math education
- Own growth in ambiguity: Step into unclear problems and bring clarity, structure, and momentum — whether that’s supporting pilots, expansion initiatives, or new market entry efforts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives: Take ownership of growth projects that cut across sales, operations, and product — especially those without a clear owner but with high strategic impact
- Partner to close: Work alongside senior sales leaders and Math Success Managers to deliver demos, design pilots, and secure long-term partnerships
- Be the face of Innovamat: Represent the company at conferences, host local events, and build brand presence across your territory
- Own your number: Build and execute a personal growth plan to consistently exceed targets
- Learn the business deeply: Get hands-on across teams to understand how Innovamat operates end-to-end and help improve processes as we scale
Our take
Despite its immense importance, the education space has been slow to evolve, with much of teaching still relying on knowledge-first, memory-based curricula. Innovamat sets out to change this, with a maths curriculum focused on collaboration, discussion, and investigation, delivered through the Innovamat App and its classroom management platform.
Innovamat's resources enable teachers to deliver sequenced sessions, running all the way from infant to secondary - all from one platform. The app provides self-adaptive practice and progress reports, tuned to the pace of each student, and the company also supplies complementary materials for hands-on learning. In addition, it also provides teacher training resources to ensure all staff are able to deliver the curriculum to their best ability.
With a presence established in Catalonia and Latin America, the company is now looking towards further geographical expansion, particularly in the US and Italy. Innovamat has raised impressive funding that will accelerate research and development, support this new expansion, and allow it to reach even more students, atop the 210,000 already learning through its curriculum.
