Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of sales / customer success experience
- Clear and thoughtful communicator - you value storytelling - with excellent verbal & written communication skills, including slide deck preparation. You can explain complex issues in simple terms and adapt your tone for different users
- Ample experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders (internally & externally)
- Passionate about customer success and positively impacting the working lives of people in large organizationsPipeline/forecast management
- 4+ years experience showcasing strong negotiation skills
- Capable to build and maintain fruitful relationships with C-suite Sales acumen and customer care

What the job involves
- As a Mid-Market Relationship Manager you’ll be focused on building deep relationships with some of our most strategic customers
- You will serve as the primary point of contact, helping our existing customer base evangelize Front across their organization
- You will be responsible for renewals AND expansion, as well as, ensuring the clients overall success with Front
- You’ll play a vital role in the customer journey as the customer’s main advocate and advisor, influencing account admins, end users and decision makers
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Drive Front product adoption to achieve our best-in-class retention and expansion goals
- Evaluate opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, expansion, and retention
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Support and Marketing to ensure customers have the full power of Front behind them
- Ensure successful delivery of technical and business value propositions according to customer needs
- Provide creative problem solving for complex workflows and use cases
- Ensure long term client satisfaction and reference-ability
- Be the voice of the customer to the product and go-to-market team
Our take
When a business receives an email from a customer it can set off a chain of forwarded emails across the company, an inefficient process where information (and sales!) can easily get lost. Front exists to change this, consolidating all customer communications into a single shared inbox which can be accessed by teams of any size and completely eliminates the need for internal emails.
With more companies moving to remote working and eCommerce becoming the predominant form of conducting business, Front's product has been enthusiastically received by over 8,000 companies, including Mailchimp, Shopitfy and Convoy. However it is by no means alone in this space, with huge competitors such as Google and Microsoft providing communications solutions and other internal communications tools such as Slack gaining traction. Front may have an edge here though: its unified solution also provides automated workflows, ticketing and analytical tools that are either absent or less well integrated in competing offerings.
In 2022, Front raised investments in a Series D round and achieved unicorn status with a valuation of over $1 billion. It is moving to futher develop its product and increase its market share, hiring on new talent ahead of a possible IPO in the near future. Definitely watch this space!
