Who you are
- 3+ years of professional experience with strong interaction and visual design skills
- A track record of designing complex digital products that solve real-world problems
- The ability to simplify intricate systems into intuitive user experiences
- Comfort with ambiguity and a drive to find clarity through research and iteration
- Strong communication skills to articulate your ideas to diverse stakeholders
- A willingness to travel and work on-site with clients regularly
- An eye for cohesive design systems and brand expression
- Expertise in Figma and other design tools like Framer, etc
- Experience with 3D product design, and mixed reality is a bonus
- An online portfolio showcasing your work
- Willing to work in our office in NYC 5 days a week
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally to customer locations. This will likely be potentially 10%-15% of time
What the job involves
- Product Designers at Arena lead product experiences, visual language, and conceptual design across all touchpoints
- In this role, you will be the connective tissue between cutting-edge AI technology, our users, and the physical environments where Atlas is deployed
- You will make the complex simple, the powerful accessible, and the future tangible
- In this role, you will leverage your design expertise to rapidly design and prototype new product features within the Atlas Platform
- Define, design, and ship high-quality prototypes and market defining products
- Advocate for users - go deep on understanding their perspective, workflows, and pain points
- Partner closely product owners and design peers to define both long-term strategy and short-term tactics
- Help define and evolve our design language and system across an ever growing product set
- Collaborate with engineers and machine learning scientists to ensure innovative AI techniques and technologies translate into scalable tools, services, and customer experiences
- Set a higher standard for animation, motion, and craftsmanship

Arena leverages performance data, predictive algorithms, and machine learning technology to help businesses automate high frequency decisions. In theory, the platform can be used to automate marketing strategies, promotions, inventory and supply chain management, pricing, and more.
Although AI automated decision-making may sound overly ambitious at first, a closer look suggests that it’s actually a natural progression from the huge growth of AI-powered data analytics companies. Arena separates itself from these by providing the next actionable step, rather than leaving these decisions up to internal teams.
The company’s “business decision autopilot” is used by a number of Fortune 500 businesses including multinational brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev, so it must be doing something right. While it's shown stable and impressive growth since launching in 2020, a major 2022 fundraise led by Initialized Capital and Goldcrest Capital suggests an aggressive scale up is inevitable.
