What the job involves

Perplexity is looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet
Your passion and diligence will be critical to ensure we deliver a high quality product
You will work closely with product management, design, and engineering
Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch
Write clear, concise automated test scripts that cover a wide range of scenarios
Maintaining and debugging automated test scripts
Detect bugs and UI issues on a variety of devices, browsers, and operating systems
Work with product management to set up proper QA testing processes
Detect performance problems by benchmarking against similar products
Work with support to understand and reproduce common user issues
Work with engineering to develop tools for automated testing
Beta test new features and builds
