Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role; preferably in fintech, blockchain, or security-focused industries
- Strong background in automation testing frameworks and methodologies
- Deep understanding of Bitcoin and blockchain technology
- Experience with API testing tools and scripting languages
- Knowledge of security testing methodologies, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first, and collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
What the job involves
- We are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled QA Engineering Manager to lead our QA team in ensuring the quality, stability, and security of our Bitcoin and blockchain-based applications
- As a QA Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing test strategies, mentoring QA engineers, and working cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to maintain high-quality standards
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration
- Define and oversee the implementation of test strategies, ensuring coverage for functional, performance, security, and regression testing
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks for blockchain-based applications and APIs
- Establish best practices for QA processes and continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance product quality
- Work closely with developers to review features, identify testability concerns, and ensure proper validation of new functionalities
- Manage bug tracking and reporting processes, ensuring timely resolution of defects
- Coordinate with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and optimize execution in cloud-based environments
- Stay updated with blockchain and fintech QA trends, security vulnerabilities, and best practices
- Communicate QA metrics, progress, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement
