Role
Who you are
- Our key requirement is a Javascript developer who wants to be the complete front-end engineer in a Vue-based environment
- We are also looking for someone who is interested in UX and interface design
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis on single-page web app development
- Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript framework - React.js/Vue.js/Angular.js (we use Vue.js and Angular.js)
- HTML, CSS (including CSS pre-processors), JavaScript and Typescript
- Experience integrating APIs
- Web testing and troubleshooting skills – you know the web developer tools
- Evidence of unconventional thinking that shows you have worked smarter, not just harder
- Excellent organizational, communication and soft skills
- A strong academic record, a graduate in a science or technology subject, post-graduate is a plus
- A passionate advocate of concise and simple code, designs and applications
- As a technical leader, you inspire trust and confidence in your peers
- Great team member – has the confidence to admit errors, can follow, direct, learn and teach
- You learn a new business domain fast, getting to grips with new concepts and asking questions
- You hold your own in a detailed Javascript discussion with a senior engineer and a user-centred design discussion with UX and business domain experts

What the job involves
- This is an opportunity to develop performant and scalable SPAs for our many brokerage platforms
- You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and our design team to deliver brokerage web app applications to our diverse client base of over 2 million users
- Work on brokerage projects as an Engineer at interactiveadvisors.com (Central London, UK)
- Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs, Vuex, Pinia, Vite, Cypress, webpack)
- Owning and building high-traffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience
- Collaborate with colleagues to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects
- Contribute to our company-wide Vue UI Component Library
- Set direction and partner with other front-end engineers to implement new technologies
- Work with a team of intelligent, intense and fast-moving co-workers
- Working hours 9 am – 6 pm, Monday – Friday
