Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
Prior experience in manufacturing and SaaS, with a strong preference for both
At least 1+ years of relevant work experience in SaaS and Life Sciences (or another related field)
Prior experience in manufacturing, life sciences, biotech, and pharmaceuticals is highly desired but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work

What the job involves

Apprentice is looking for several Business Development Representatives to add to our team who are experienced in driving top-of-the-funnel leads and who have demonstrated success in converting leads in a high-volume environment
Drive top of the funnel lead generation for Sales Executives
Research, identify, and prospect into ideal customer profiles via outbound channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.)
Qualify inbound leads and route qualified prospects to Sales Executives
Relentlessly drive stage progression
Co-own pipeline creation goals and consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity metrics and quota
Personalize outreach with relevance and insight (no spray-and-pray approach)
Use tools like SFDC, Salesloft, Zoominfo, Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. to manage outreach and track performance
Partner closely with Sales Executives and Marketing to iterate on messaging and targeting
Serve as a consultative partner during discovery calls
Contribute feedback on market trends, objections, and insights to help improve our playbooks
In depth knowledge or ability to learn SaaS and manufacturing
Strong written and oral communication skills for director level and above audiences
