- You’re a copywriter at heart with a strong commercial instinct—you know what grabs attention and drives action
- You have at least 3–5 years of experience writing across formats and channels, ideally in a B2C or finance or fintech environment
- You are skilled in—or eager to become skilled in—AI-powered content creation
- You’ve created content for CRM, SEO, paid ads, and social media
- You are comfortable using tools like Google Analytics and Looker to track and improve performance
- You’re fluent in Dutch (native) and have excellent English writing skills. German or French is a plus
- You’re a proactive doer who can balance creativity, structure, and speed
What the job involves
- As our Content Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in driving Peaks’ growth through powerful, data-informed, and engaging content
- From social ads to SEO blogs, UGC scripts, email journeys and in-app copy — you'll write content that performs across the full funnel and helps us scale across new markets in 2025
- You’ll be part of the Creative Hub, working closely with our Content Manager and fellow Copywriter
- Given the interdisciplinary nature of the role, you’ll also collaborate closely with our performance, product, CRM, and design teams to ensure every piece of content serves a purpose and drives results
- You’ll also help scale our content production efficiently and creatively through the use of AI tools
- Whether you're already experienced with AI prompting or excited to develop that skill, we see this as a key part of the role
- Copywriting & content creation: you write engaging, high-performing content that converts—ranging from paid ads and landing pages to short-form social content and informative articles
- CRM & lifecycle communication: with the help of AI you craft impactful email journeys that activate, retain, and delight users
- SEO content & AI writing: you create SEO-optimised blog content, using AI prompting as a key tool to increase speed and efficiency without compromising quality
- Affiliate & referral content: you support Peaks’ affiliate and referral marketing efforts with clear and compelling messaging
- Content for growth: you support the performance marketing team with persuasive, audience-targeted copy across channels
- Content analysis & optimisation: you use data to learn what works and iterate accordingly
Our take
The retail investor market is growing, thanks to investment apps like Robinhood and E*TRADE democratising access to the markets and empowering non-professionals to make their money work. It’s stimulated the fintech startup scene globally, too, and whilst many are chasing the hands-on retail investors, a niche has opened up for ‘small change’ investment apps for the hands-off customer. Peaks is one of these, allowing users to round up card payments and automatically invest it.
These apps are great for early-stage, short term investors, even though they will tend to work out more costly in the long run. As such, they tend to be directed at young Gen X and the emerging Gen Z markets - and here’s where Peaks has smartly distinguished itself from competitors like Stash and Acorn. Peaks is a values-driven app which only permits investments in sustainable ETFs. This is likely to play well with the younger generations, who expressly seek out brands and companies with the kind of eco-friendly ethos that aligns with their beliefs.
