What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in technology, ensuring the quality of the platform that powers thousands of daily journeys
- You won't just be a tester; you'll be a quality advocate
- We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to ask "why?" and can work with product and development teams to find issues before they're even coded. You'll be a key part of ensuring our technology—the brain behind our smart, sustainable bus networks—is robust, reliable, and user-friendly
- Collaborate with Product Leads and Developers during the design phase to identify potential issues, edge cases, and user scenarios no one has thought about
- Help developers identify their blind spots by bringing a fresh, user-focused perspective to the development process
- Find and articulate potential issues in product requirements and designs before any code is written
- Thoroughly test new features across our technology platform, from rider apps to our internal routing software, thinking creatively to find defects
- Execute the team's regression test pack to ensure product stability
- Identify, document, and track bugs through their entire lifecycle
- Work closely with developers to investigate issues and verify fixes
- Communicate your findings clearly, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical team members
