Who you are

Experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar role focused on outbound lead generation, Lead Qualification, and pipeline management
Strong organizational and process management skills to handle multiple chauffeurs at various stages of the acquisition funnel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage chauffeurs at scale while maintaining a personalized approach
Availability to work at The London Wheely Academy in Syon Park for five days a week

What the job involves

Wheely is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Representative to join our team
In this role, you will own the end-to-end acquisition funnel, from the initial chauffeur sign-up to their first journey with Wheely
Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall chauffeur experience and act as a representative and spokesperson for Wheely, fostering positive relationships within our chauffeur community
Manage the entire acquisition process from chauffeur sign-up to their first journey
Source and qualify chauffeur leads, building a robust acquisition pipeline
Convert qualified leads through calls, emails, and in-person meetings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the overall chauffeur experience
Act as a representative and spokesperson for Wheely, fostering positive relationships with our chauffeur community

Uber and Lyft have completely changed the way we hail a taxi. However, most people know someone with negative Uber stories - quality cannot always be guaranteed with these companies. Wheely is targeting customers who want high quality rides every time.

The company has a strict requirement process and uses the industry's most rigorous tests, with their drivers all certified from the Chauffeur Training Academy. Founded in 2010, Wheely is now available in London, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris, and Dubai, with thousands of chauffeurs driving under the brand.

Since raising funding back in 2019, the company has been working to establish itself as the leader in premium ride-hailing in megacities across the globe. Lengthy lockdowns during the pandemic of course caused problems for Wheely, but it appears to have manoeuvred through these difficulties and come out the other side refocussed on growing its services.
