Senior Marketing Scientist, Snap Inc.

• Ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
• Clear and concise communication; comfortable with presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Understanding of measurement concepts, solutions, and underlying statistical fundamentals leveraged in the ads efficacy and measurement ecosystem
• Subject matter expertise in at least one of the following areas; conversion lift, brand lift, or econometrics modeling
• Understanding of applied statistics including sampling approaches, causal modeling, time series analysis, and data-mining techniques
• Proficiency with advanced analytical tools (e.g. SQL, R, SAS)
• Access, analyze, interpret, and communicate ads performance insights using a wide range of standard data science tooling
• Understanding of the vertical needs and ability to creatively apply measurement solutions and insights in a way that improves advertiser performance and the value-proposition of Snap
• A strong understanding of Snapchat and the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent years of experience
• 5+ years of advanced analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company
• Experience with ads measurement

We equip our Sales teams with what they need to be quantitatively driven, consultative partners to advertisers through training, tooling, and measurement best practices, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Strategy, and Sales to ensure Snap’s ad products are effective, efficient, and customer‑centric
• We are growing this in-market team, as well as our Global Solutions team which is a global center of excellence - setting the strategy and providing expertise in critical measurement solutions, performance pillars, bidding and formats by validating product performance and embedding Snap’s POV in the industry through rigorous, scalable, and defensible data
• We’re looking for Senior Marketing Scientists to join our Measurement Team at Snap Inc!
• Be the primary driver of performance improvement across some of our top advertisers, key measurement solutions, and/or partners through a mix of measurement strategies, experimental design, causal analytics, and ads efficacy solution prototyping
• Lead measurement, research, and learning plans for key clients or solutions and partners in support of theirs and Snap's objectives and the long-term growth of the partnership and ads business
• Develop a strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for ads measurement and insights product for your industry or verticals and/or solutions or partners
• Work closely with Product and R&D teams to identify, prototype and scale new solutions or capabilities for the broader Marketing Science team
• Lead the scoping and development of custom multi-study meta analysis in partnership with Data Science, R&D, and Partners to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and media
• Build measurement capability, data-driven performance guidance, and advocacy across your vertical and with cross-functional partners, partners, and the industry at large
