Who you are
- 10+ years of product management experience within a consumer-facing environment
- Experience building and running high-performing product teams, ideally inclusive of analysts, product ops, designers, and/or researchers
- Experience developing and implementing strong research and testing principles and operating processes
- Strong user empathy and a genuine desire to help solve customer pain points
What the job involves
- Reporting directly to our Founder/CEO and partnering closely with COO, CFO, CTO, Head of Analytics, Head of Insurance, and talented designers, you will own the roadmap for our core insurance shopping product and help make car ownership an effortless experience
- Lead, hire and develop a talented group of product managers across the insurance app, conversion, retention, and automation
- Develop and execute a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for our core insurance product; make shopping for insurance a magical experience
- Set best-in-class guiding principles for the product team including conducting effective user interviews, forming hypotheses, prioritizing and executing tasks
- Drive disciplined research efforts to understand customer needs, define priorities and product decisions
- Define, monitor and analyze product metrics, and incorporate learnings back into the development process

Jerry simplifies this process with an AI-powered service requiring minimal personal details to search and secure insurance contracts. Initially focused on insurance comparison, Jerry has expanded into auto refinancing.
Jerry stands out by offering a fully automated experience and comprehensive services for car ownership, including repairs and maintenance, unlike its competitors. These features have made Jerry the most downloaded and top-rated app in its category.
In 2023, Jerry raised $110 million in Series C2 financing, led by Park West Asset Management and others. The funding will expand the app’s services, including GarageGuard, which provides maintenance cost estimates and partner discounts, and DriveShield, which tracks driving scores and offers rewards. Serving 4 million Americans, Jerry has become the top broker for several major insurance carriers and is well-positioned for further growth in the $250 billion US auto insurance industry.
