Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +3/+4) in HR management
- At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in people ops management, preferably in a scale-up company with international exposure
- Experience in creating, developing and implementing optimized processes
- Mastery of French payroll rules and knowledge of European regulations
- Fluency in French & English (German is a plus)
- Ability to work autonomously and complete assignments within given parameters
- Comfortable with numbers
- Strong interest in parameterizing HR Tools
- Good knowledge of legal obligations related to personnel management in France and Europe
- Proficiency with Mac OS, Google Suite (Drive), and standard office software
What the job involves
- As International People Ops Senior, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of our human resources operations reporting directly to Mariem, the Head of People Operations
- You will be responsible for all administrative management of the employee lifecycle and the production of outsourced payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and implementing optimized processes to support our company's growth
- Manage the life cycle of Free2movers: Onboarding/Offboarding, employment contracts, affiliation to social organizations, health insurance, etc
- Keep HRIS (Personio/DEEL) and the various follow-up files up to date
- Establish procedures for hiring foreign employees (such as obtaining work and residence permits)
- In a context of continuous improvement and structuring (scale up), create and formalize relevant processes and harmonize existing ones
- Support various projects (mergers/acquisitions, tool synergies, optimization of payroll service providers, etc.)
- Act as a point of contact for Free2movers, sharing and communicating key information to ensure the best possible employee experience
- Ensure compliance with the French Labor Code and the company's internal rules and regulations
- Monitor and apply regulations and collective agreements
- Act as the main point of contact for Free2movers, sharing and communicating key information to ensure the best employee experience

- Follow and apply regulations and collective agreements
- Independently manage payroll and personnel administration for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands
- Be the point of contact for the employees requests for the work certificate, termination documents
- Anticipate the collection of payroll data in the various countries and improve the efficiency of collection processes
- Prepare and check payroll elements and share them with payroll service providers
- Check pay slips, settlement of all outstanding dues, severance pay, etc
- Ensure rigorous payroll management in collaboration with payroll service providers in each country : Germany, Netherland, and Austria
- Draw up all the social dashboards needed to monitor staff activity: headcount, absenteeism, payroll, gender equality index, turnover, work-related accidents, etc
- Monitor all legal and contractual obligations

Our take
Free2Move provides an all-in-one car logistics service, offering services for booking parking spaces, car rental, car sharing, taxis, and electric car recharge locations. The company's services are provided across 170 countries with pricing tiers for both personal and business use and include all necessary regulations such as insurance, maintenance, and customer support.
Whilst it’s undeniable that individual online mobility services exist for each of the services that Free2Move provides, the company has made a smart move by aggregating them all into a universal easy-to-use car logistics service. Whilst the company currently provides access to both gas-powered and electric vehicles, it plans to focus on reducing its carbon footprint by focusing more on electric cars in the future.
Other plans moving forward include an expansion into America, with the introduction of ride-sharing services across five major US cities through a fleet of 3000 cars. Whilst car-sharing hasn't been a major trend in the US, CEO Brigitte Courtehoux, appointed at the end of 2022, is capitalizing on another gap in the US market by leasing its technology to US car dealers for use in their own respective rental and car-sharing services. It's also launched a mobility app in partnership with Share Now, which it merged with in 2022.
