Role
Who you are
- You are enrolled as a student for the whole duration of the internship
- Currently in your penultimate or ultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a similar quantitative field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation) and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and automation as applied to business challenges
- A strong "data" mindset with proven quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills
- A passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and improve decision-making
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written & spoken)
What the job involves
- As a Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) intern, you will be a key part of our Group FP&A team
- Working closely with the team, you’ll play a vital part in helping position us for the next phase of our global journey
- You will support in planning our (long term) financials and analysing the company's operational and financial performance
- The implementation and utilisation of AI tools is a core focus area of this role, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technology that is transforming finance
- During this internship you will be trained in making financial information understandable and accessible for our senior management, enabling them to take strategic decisions
- Actively identify and support the automation of existing FP&A processes and deliverables (e.g., reporting, data aggregation, forecasting inputs) using appropriate technologies, with a strong emphasis on AI
- Assist in the broader transformation efforts by simplifying and standardizing FP&A processes to create greater efficiency and scalability
- Learn to derive insights from complex/comprehensive data sets and visualize your findings
- Assist in delivering ad-hoc analysis requests from senior leadership
- Work with colleagues from all over the world
