Role
Who you are
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, AliCloud, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with Terraform, IaC best practices, and infrastructure automation tools
- Proficiency in container orchestration (ECS, EKS/kubernetes) and deployment tools (Helm, FluxCD/ArgoCD)
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools like Github Actions
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of highly scalable and resilient infrastructure principles
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
- 2+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge in coding or scripting in Python, Golang or Bash
Desirable
- Experience with monitoring and log analysis
- Experience with network and system administration
What the job involves
- Cognism, the leading sales intelligence platform, seeks a skilled Platform Infrastructure Engineer to join our collaborative team
- In this role, you'll play a vital role in designing, building, and maintaining the robust and scalable infrastructure that underpins our development process
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure across various platforms (AWS, AliCloud, Azure) adhering to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
- Collaborate with numerous teams to ensure efficient delivery of infrastructure solutions that meet all requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines utilizing container orchestration tools (ECS, EKS) and deployment tools (Helm, FluxCD/ArgoCD)
- Optimize and maintain our CI/CD pipeline using Github Actions, ensuring efficient and reliable continuous integration and delivery practices
- Document infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD processes for future reference and team onboarding
- Partner with the SRE team to implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue identification and performance optimization
- Collaborate with the Security team to integrate security best practices and requirements within the platform
- Stay up-to-date on evolving security threats and implement necessary safeguards for the infrastructure
- Current Initiatives:
- Migration from ECS to EKS for improved scalability and container orchestration
- Optimization and consolidation of the entire infrastructure through IaC and GitOps principles for greater efficiency and maintainability
