Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SOAR/Automation technologies or a similar role
- 5+ years in customer-facing positions such as post-sales engineering, customer success engineering, or technical services
- Proven expertise in security, automation, scripting, and API integration
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with security operations centers (SOC), cloud environments, EDR, and SIEM technologies is highly desirable
- Ability to clearly articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Interpersonal skills - ability to work with customers and translate it to proactive solutions
- Experience in designing and writing automation scripts (scripting - bash/python)
- Experience in reading APIs and security
What the job involves
- As a Customer Success Engineer at Torq, you’ll be a key member of our Field Engineering team, helping customers unlock the full potential of our security hyperautomation platform
- Working closely with a global, highly skilled team, you’ll ensure customer success by providing technical expertise, problem-solving, and valuable insights into our product’s future
- Guide customers on their automation journey, ensuring seamless solution adoption and long-term success
- Provide expert technical support, resolving complex challenges and ensuring a world-class experience
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape Torq’s roadmap based on customer feedback and emerging trends
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in security and automation to provide cutting-edge insights to our clients
- Deliver technical and industry thought leadership to our customer’s business and technical decision makers
- Demonstrate a thorough grasp of our customer’s business and technical issues in order to architect compelling solutions that use Torq’s workflows
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Torq solution and the product roadmap
- Partner with the other roles within Torq’s teams to present meaningful services offerings, training, technical workshops, and road-mapping as well as supporting to broaden the knowledge base and product understanding
- Be part of the business growth - make sure our customers are eager to use Torq’s solution exponentially
- Triaging and Prioritizing reported customers Incidents
Our take
Torq is transforming cybersecurity with its AI-driven platform that automates and speeds up the way companies handle incidents. Its main product, Torq HyperSOC, uses AI to manage security alerts, investigate threats, and take action much faster than humans alone, helping security teams avoid burnout.
The platform is gaining attention from large enterprises like Check Point, Rivian, and Wiz for its ability to fix the gap left by older security systems. Overall, by automating critical processes, Torq makes security operations more efficient and effective.
Since its launch in 2020, the company has raised funding totalling almost $200 million. Its latest raise will be used to expand globally and enhance its AI capabilities. As its customer base and revenue rapidly grow, Torq is on track to hit its ambitious goal of $100M in annual recurring revenue by 2026.
